Gianmario holds concerts as Tuba soloist, in chamber and orchestral formations.
He graduated in Tuba full score, praise and honorable mention. He has recorded for Rai, Vatican Radio, Sky Classica, CNN, Concerto-Music Media record company and published for the publishing houses Accademia and Micropress (works distributed by La Feltrinelli). He was interviewed by radio and television broadcasters from the United States, Brazil, Australia, Paraguay, Estonia, Africa, China, Slovenia (Radio Koper), Hungary, Albania, China, Bulgaria, Spain, Canada, Montenegro, Egypt and other countries.
As soloist he has performed in England, Romania, Albania, Germany, Greek, Moldova, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro (150th anniversary for the death of Gioacchino Rossini), Austria and in Russia at the prestigious “P.I. Tchaikovsky ” festival accompanied by the Bacau Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bulgarian National Symphony Orchestra, the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra (Russia, Udmurtia), the State Philarmonic Orchestra of Vidin in Bulgaria, the National Chamber Orchestra of Moldova, the Bulgarian Dianapolis Chamber Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of Kazakhstan. He was the first tubist to win the prestigious Nino Rota Award, previously gave to artists such K. Ricciarelli and J. Horowitz. He is teacher at Higher Institute of music Jose Hernandez in Buenos Aires for tuba and euphonium international annual online course. He is teacher at the Jose Asuncion Flores Conservatory of music (Paraguay) for an international online brass course. He given masterclass and recital in presence and online in some Universities, Conservatories and Superior Institutes of music in Moldova, USA, Sudafrica, Brazil, Perù, Albania, Kosovo, Paraguay, Cile, Venezuela, Argentina, Honduras, Ecuador, Uganda (Africa), Costa Rica, Mexico and Bolivia. Ancona, his city has awarded him with the meritorious citizenship.
On March 23, 2019 he performed at the Bachmuseum in Leipzig, at the opening concert for the celebrations of the 334° birth of J. S. Bach and on June 29, 2019 he gave a recital at the Mozarteum in Salzsburg (Wiener Saal). Previously he had performed in Votkinsk in Russia at the birthplace of P.I. Tchaikovsky in the presence of eminent figures from the Russian music scene. On this occasion he performed Bach's II Suite for tuba solo.
